Three individual sculptures at the station pay tribute to a beloved clock that was located at the intersection of 52nd and Market Streets. In each of the three installations there are images of clocks blended with train gears and universal symbols of time. Through the complex layering of brightly colored pieces, these artworks, created from multi-colored powder coat steel, make reference to old-style mechanical clocks and the marking of daily life events. The complexity of each composition represents the diversity of the community. Both clocks and communities have gears and layers and a multiplicity of interactions.
