SEPTA Key Updates & Information

As part of the continuing transition to SEPTA Key, Token sales have ended at Transit Sales Offices, SEPTA Bus Districts, and select Regional Rail Stations. Please visit the SEPTA Key customer website for Key updates and information.

SEPTA Key Fares Accepted on Transit
  • SEPTA Key Card loaded with a valid Pass - Weekly or Monthly TransPass. TrailPass (all Zones) or One Day Convenience Pass

  • SEPTA Key Card loaded with Travel Wallet funds (replaces tokens/transfers)

  • SEPTA Key Senior Card

  • SEPTA Key Reduced Fare Card

  • Quick Trip (valid only for use at Broad St, Market Frankford Line Stations) - purchase from Station Fare Kiosk

SEPTA Key Fares Accepted on Regional Rail
  • SEPTA Key Card loaded with a Weekly or Monthly Zone or higher TrailPass or Independence Pass

  • SEPTA Key Card loaded with valid TransPass is good for ANYWHERE travel on WEEKENDS and major holidays.

  • TransPasses no longer accepted on the Airport Regional Rail Line for regular Weekday Travel. A Zone 1 or higher TrailPass is needed to travel

  • SEPTA Key Senior Card

  • SEPTA Key Reduced Fare Card

  • Quick Trip: From Center City Stations: Purchase at Station Fare Kiosk for travel from Center City to an outlying Station. Not valid for travel from an outlying station for travel towards Center City (except on Airport Line) From Airport Line Stations Terminal A-E/F: Purchase at Terminal platform Fare Kiosks for travel towards Center City

  • Cash - exact fare ONLY

  • Tokens & Transfers - Tokens and paper transfers no longer sold. Token & Transfer pricing available on a SEPTA Key Card with money in the Travel Wallet

  • Paper Weekly/Monthly Trans & TrailPasses/Cross County Passes

  • Paper One Day Independence Pass accepted on buses and Trolleys ONLY

  • Senior Fare - Valid Driver/Non-Driver ID with a magnetic stripe ONLY

Monthly TrailPasses also available on the SEPTA Key Card. This DOES NOT APPLY to customers purchasing Monthly Parking Permits or customers purchasing Monthly TrailPasses through ComPass, WageWorks, Wired Commute, or other corporate programs providing passes directly to customers.

  • SEPTA Sales Offices: Offer SEPTA Key Cards that can be loaded with a Weekly/Monthly TransPass, Weekly TrailPasses Zones 1,2,3, Anywhere, One Day Convenience Pass, One Day Independence Pass, or Travel Wallet funds (valid on Transit ONLY). Sales Offices also sell Monthly TrailPasses Zone 1,2,3, Anywhere
  • Outlying SEPTA Rail Station Ticket Offices - Paper Monthly TrailPasses (Zone 1,2,3 Anywhere), Cross County Pass, One Day Independence Passes, Tickets. SEPTA Key Cards are available for purchase and Pass load/reloads at select outlying Regional Rail Ticket Offices - check individual stations for details
  • Transit Stations & Select Bus Loop Fare Kiosks - SEPTA Key Cards with Weekly/Monthly TransPasses, One Day Convenience Passes or Travel Wallet funds, Quick Trips (valid only for travel on Broad Street and Market Frankford Line)

  • Customers can visit to load/reload products on a SEPTA Key Card
