Weekend Fare Inspection at Suburban Station Starting Saturday, November 17, 2018

A pilot program to expand the SEPTA Key fare inspection process to Weekends, at Center City Regional Rail Stations, will begin at Suburban Station on Saturday, November 17.

Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, customers must present one of the following prepaid fares for inspection to the SEPTA Key Fare Collection Ambassadors before proceeding to the train platform:

  • SEPTA Key Card
  • SEPTA Key Senior Card/Current Driver's License (with mag stripe)
  • SEPTA Key Reduced Fare Card
  • Legacy SEPTA Pass
  • SEPTA Ticket

Customers with cash should purchase a ticket at the Station Sales Office before going to the fareline. The Fare Collection Ambassadors will not punch or collect tickets - these will be presented to the Conductor on the train.

TransPasses have ANYWHERE travel privileges on Weekends and major Regional Rail holidays.
