Effective Sunday, May 2, 2021- Paper Tickets No Longer Accepted Use a Key Card loaded with Travel Wallet funds to receive ticket pricing

With the end of paper ticket sales, a SEPTA Key Card with money loaded in the Travel Wallet is the most convenient way to pay your fare. Funds in the Travel Wallet never expire and always offer the lowest price fare option when paying by trip.

To ensure that the correct fare is deducted from the Travel Wallet, please remember to TAP•RIDE•TAP when you travel on Regional Rail. Tap On at the station Platform or Turnstile Validator at the start of your trip and Tap Off at the station Platform or Turnstile Validator when you exit the train.

The fare you pay with a SEPTA Key Card is based on:

Where You Are Going: Each Regional Rail station is located in a fare zone determined by its distance from Center City Philadelphia. The station where you are boarding and traveling to will determine the zone and the price deducted from the Travel Wallet.

Time of Day or Day of Week You Are Traveling: The price of your fare is based on whether you will travel on a Weekday, Evening, or Weekend.
